Major Areas of Research Interest:
My interests are related to Endourology clinical research with a focus on kidney stones. At the University of Arizona we are a site for ReSKU - Registry for Stones of the Kidney and Ureter which is a multi-institutional prospective registry for patients with kidney stones. Utilizing ReSKU, my interests focus on:
- kidney stone endotoxins
- improving kidney stone surgical outcomes
- increasing kidneys stone patients' safety with respect to radiation exposure
- facilitating patient understanding and prevention of kidney stones
