Major Areas of Research Interest:
Point-of care Ultrasound - The overall goal of my research agenda is to improve the quality and safety of care in the emergency department patients using bed side ultrasound technology. In pursuit of this goal, I have focused my research on novel ultrasound technologies and clinical applications. As PI or co-Investigator I successfully conducted several research projects, collaborated with other researchers, and produced several peer-reviewed publications. Over the last five years, I have authored more than 30 manuscripts. I have experience in all aspects of clinical research in the emergency department including protocol design, research compliance, enrollment, and retention of subjects, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
